SUNDAY, JULY 3RD, 1:00 PM Community Organized Parade: Wonder Lake Independence Day Parade, July 3rd, 2022, 1:30 p.m. 4:30 PM: Award Winning Wonder Lake Water Show Ski Team will present their current show at Center Beach. At DARK: Fireworks over Wonder Lake! Pick out your favorite viewing location, on land or on water. Fireworks will be launched from a floating barge, and great viewing is available from Wonder Center Beach. Boaters please be aware of the barge located in the middle of the lake between West Bay & Center Beach. Please note: Wonder Center Beach is owned by the Wonder Center Property Owners Association, it is a private beach that opens up to the public for scheduled special events. Please be courteous and do not leave items behind, and deposit any trash in the provided containers. Download parade entry form and leave at MPOA office on Hancock.

MONDAY, JULY 4TH: Last but not least, enjoy a pontoon cruise around our beautiful lake!
2:00-4:00 PM: Free Pontoon Rides! Enjoy a casual, fun and very informative boat ride around Wonder Lake. Boarding will be from the Wonder Lake Marina dock. Sponsored by the Wonder Lake Yacht Club and Wonder Lake Marina.

The Bristol Renaissance Faire is located on 30 wooded acres, just west of I-94’s Russell Road exit, near Kenosha, Wis. Sunday’s Heritage Fair is on July 10th  9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Highlights include children’s activities, Garden Glitz plant sale, strolling magicians, a “baby” white elephant sale, silent auction, bake sale and a pie-baking contest. This year’s contest features three categories: Fruit, berry and mixed fruit/other. No cream pies, please. Interested bakers can register their pies between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. the day of the Heritage Fair in the West Harmony School, located on the museum grounds. The entry fee is $2. Ribbons will be awarded to the winners in each category, plus a special award for the grand champion. Pies will be sold by the slice immediately following the judging at the Heritage Fair’s bake sale. Heritage Fair is at the museum campus, 6422 Main St. in Union. See Car Show

The McHenry Outdoor Theatre  One of the Last Outdoor Theaters in Illinois, the theater it is located ½ mile north of Route 120 at 1510 North Chapel Hill Road. Movie goers can bring additional seating and a portable radio to view the movie next to their car. Adult: $12.00, Military/Senior: $6.00, Child: $6.00.
